TWO PIECE WOODEN HAT MOLD, PROBABLY FROM THE LATE 19TH CENTURY. MARKED AHS, ALONG WITH VARIOUS HAT SIZES. THE WHITE MATERIAL MUST HAVE BEEN SOME SORT OF PLASTER USED IN THE MOLDING PROCESS.
