Up for offer is a Scottish gilt antique livery button with a crest of a rampant lion. The button is in excellent condition. Maker is Kirkwood - Edin., a rare backmark. It measures just over 1 inch / 2

 

Lovely and ornate! Generous size of 2". The flash distorts the actual color of the glass, actual color is more darker purple (an amethyst purple shade). See the sunflower Gay 90's button without flash
