Up for auction is an antique Victorian garnet brooch. There are a total of 7 prong set garnets. Each stone has 8 prongs making the garnets very secure. Tube hinge with a C-clasp. This is a very pretty

 

Measures 15 1/2 inches. Vintage necklace. Amber color glass. Ornate metalwork design on top of center piece. Divider pieces are a brass like metal in a flower design. Dates from the mid 1800's.
