Up for auction is a running 12S Elgin open face pocket watch in a Supreme I.W.C.Co. case that is octagon shaped and features an Art Deco design etched on the back cover. This International case shows

 

The movement serial number is 4992B. It is marked Hamilton Watch Co USA, Adj Temp. and 6 Positions. The movement is extremely clean and appears to me to not be missing parts. Keystone Base Metal case

A very decent Illinois 17J Railroad Watch. Nice dial with edge chip at 40 min that is covered by bezel and a small scratch in seconds disc. The movement has very nice brite work and matching screws. T

I will Start by stating that I am no watch expert. I have not opened this watch, as I would probably do more harm than good. This piece is currently not running, but this is what I have observed:Mecha

 

I have no idea what parts could be used from this old watch if any. I am also not sure if this is gold or not. The case does have some wear to the top winding part(missingh?) The works are marked IDEA
