This is a great old drawer or type case. I sell many of these BUT this one has brass corners which is hard to find. The case is at least 100 years old but probably older. A true antique!!!! I polished

TWO PIECE WOODEN HAT MOLD, PROBABLY FROM THE LATE 19TH CENTURY. MARKED AHS, ALONG WITH VARIOUS HAT SIZES. THE WHITE MATERIAL MUST HAVE BEEN SOME SORT OF PLASTER USED IN THE MOLDING PROCESS.
