NICE, WELL KEPT VINTAGE MERCANTILE SCALE MADE BY THE DETECTO SCALE COMPANY. THE METAL FACE MEASURES 8 1/2" IN DIAMETER AND IS PRETTY CLEAN. THE BACK SIDE STILL RETAINS ONE OF ITS INSPECTION STICKERS.

 

TWO PIECE WOODEN HAT MOLD, PROBABLY FROM THE LATE 19TH CENTURY. MARKED AHS, ALONG WITH VARIOUS HAT SIZES. THE WHITE MATERIAL MUST HAVE BEEN SOME SORT OF PLASTER USED IN THE MOLDING PROCESS.

 

For sale is a set of 2 wood pieces, one a hat form brim and the other the base for working on molding the hat. I have sold many forms but NEVER seen this base piece. The brim is labeled 1 LP, 7 1/2 2
