I came across this recently and am proud to offer it up for auction.A 6/8 vintage Tanchen Solingen straight razor in it's original box and showing very few signs of use.Marked 6/8 on the tang it measu

 

Made from animal bone, probably deer. John Primble India steel works is etched SOUTHERN GENTLEMAN on blade. Has a silver bar inlaid in picked boneA very rare straight razor.The tang says John Primble

 

This is one vintage straight razor "The Cranford " Cranford Razor Works that was a trademark used by S.R. Droescher c. 1916-1924.It is in excellent condition with 6/8" square point hollow ground blade
