This is a surviving fragment of an antique 19th century linsey woolsey quilt. Linsey woolsey is a coarse twill or plain-woven fabric, with a linen warp and a woolen weft. It is a wonderful indigo blue

 

Superb antique 1900 cream machine made high neck cotton lace collar in excellent unused condition ~ one tiny age spot at the central point. Measuring 12 1/2" along the neck edge and 10" at the deepest
