This is a metal antique wall pocket. I believe it is brass and it looks to have been repaired around the nose. It measures 4 1/2 in by 3 3/4 inches and from the tip of the nose to the back is 5 inches

 

This nice antique frame was found at a garage sale recently. It is finished in gold and silver gesso. There is some of the gesso missing but not enough to distract from this nice antique frame. There
