I have just made this fabulous cushion using an Antique French Architectural Toile, dating from c1700s, the side panels and the cushion backing are made from an Antique 19th century French indigo chec

This is piece is very finely done and has over 20 stitches to the inch. It shows a cottage scene and measures 15" by 11". It is not framed and that's the way I got it but it is mounted on a cardboard
