Antique coal iron with rooster latch. Rustic, primitive iron measures approx. 7 1/4" x 8" x 3 1/2". Ornate handle with wood and fish supports. Iron weighs almost 6 lbs Purchased in Europe Made in 1800

 

THIS PRIMATIVE CAST IRON TRIVET HAS A RELATIVELY RARE WOODEN HANDLE TO LESSEN HEAT TRANSFER. IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR ITS AGE,HAVING NO RUST NOR IMPERFECTIONS ON THE HANDLE. IT MEASURES 11 X 5

 

Up for auction is a lovely wicker doll carriage manufactured by the Hedstrom Union Co. This "doll buggy" belonged to my mother when she was a little girl; she was born in 1921 so my guess is that this

 

I've had it for many years and used only for decoration. I have never tried lighting it up. I don't think it has a wick. The glass globe has no cracks. The metal is whole with some rust here and there

 

Up for bid are 2 vintage no.325 Perfection Heater Wicks in their original boxes. Boxes are in fair condition, one box has top flap missing. Wicks are unused. See photo's for condition and if you have

 

I cannot date this item but I do know it is a friction cleaner. You push it forward and it works like those toy cars that you push fast over and over until they go by themselves. You can see the plate

 

THIS WAS MADE BY MY GREAT,GREAT GRAND FATHER, AND BEEN HANDED DOWN ITS OVER A 100 YEARS OLD!

 

Sold as is. One of the legs has shorter attachment but it should still be able to go on a tub with the right screw.
