Up for auction is a beautiful antique needlework sampler, worked in wool on a linen ground. This piece was made by Jane Denton, aged 10, and is dated 1829. Jane's sampler is unassuming and quite charm

I am going to guess that this quilt is as old as beginning to mid 20th century. The third and fourth photos give a most accurate color. The size is for a double bed with long over hang on three sides.

 

Bow Tie Quilt. 72" x 83". Cotton fabrics. Crisp & unwashed. There's some faint yellowing on some of the blocks - see pictures. A beautiful vintage quilt top! No Reserve.
