Up for bid is an antique 1909 Elgin pocket watch. It runs, but needs a crystal and a cleaning. There is also a small hairline crack on the dial. The case is made by the Philadelphia Watch Case Co. and

 

I know nothing about this watch other than it is an estate find. The movement falls out of the case, the case is marked Illinois Elgin smells like sterling silver and is tarnished like sterling. Cryst
