This faceplate guard does not fit a standard Mark V helmet. I believe it is for a Commercial helmet as it is slightly larger. The dimensions of this faceplate are: the holes are 5 3/4" on center diago

 

 

Just acquired this unusual old metal bell. The markings are difficult to read. It does have a year date of 1878 and the name or word SAIGNELFCIER (?). I hope the photos will help you with bidding.
