Here is a Brunton compass which appears to be a good working condition. It is approx. 4 X 4 inches in size.

 

Wheel is cast brass or perhaps bronze. Spokes are brass in the center and thread into the main wheel. The shaft and center screw are brass. The gear drive assembly is steel.
