I found this antique doll wrapped in a blanket in an old trunk at a recent estate sale. The body and the head combine for about 26 inches. The back of the head is marked MADE IN GERMANY 390 A. 11. M.

 

This group consists of three dolls. The largest is a precolored five inch marked Gemany with wire strung joints, molded bows in her hair and a repaired foot (see photo). Her companion is a little girl

I know nothing about this doll, except that she appears to be made of celluloid, and is in excellent condition. Her clothing appears to be all original, and is sewn on so I won't attempt to remove it.
