Antique black painted brass French compass. It is in still working condition and has a locking mechanism for traveling. The painted surface has some chipping and wear. It measures 2" in diameter. Mark

 

Two portholes. All parts are present. Glass is not chipped or cracked. One wing nut that opens the porthole. The rubber gasket is in good condition and seals tight. Measures 12' in diameter.
